Seeds of Infinity
Privacy policy
Last updated: October 26, 2026
This English text is a translation provided for convenience. If it differs from the Brazilian Portuguese version, the Portuguese version prevails.
- The game collects no data. It plays offline, with no account, ads or tracking, and your progress stays on your device.
- The tester waitlist keeps only what you send: your name, email, country, language and, if you wish, your type of device, to invite you to the beta and tell you when the game launches.
- We do not sell your data or share it for advertising.
- You are in control: ask to see, correct or delete your data at any time at [email protected].
1Who we are
This policy covers the Seeds of Infinity game for iPhone and Android (the “Game”) and the seedsofinfinity.app website with its tester waitlist (the “Site”).
Your data is handled by DevStacks Software Engineering LTDA, Brazilian company number (CNPJ) 43.756.177/0001-25, based in Porto Alegre, RS, Brazil (“DevStacks”, “we”), which is the controller under Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (LGPD) and the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). For any privacy matter, write to [email protected].
2The game collects no data
The Game is made to play without an internet connection. It:
- asks for no registration, login or account;
- collects or sends no personal or usage data to us or to anyone else;
- contains no ads and no third-party analytics, tracking or crash-reporting tools;
- asks for no access to your location, contacts, camera, microphone or photos.
Your progress (the journey, the cards and preferences such as language and volume) is saved only in your device’s own storage. We have no access to it. If you delete the Game, this data is deleted with it. Automatic iPhone (iCloud) or Android (Google) backups may include it, depending on your account settings, and follow Apple’s and Google’s policies.
Apple and Google, as app stores, handle data about downloads and installations under their own privacy policies. If you allowed your device to share analytics with developers, they may show us aggregated usage statistics and crash reports that do not identify you.
3The tester waitlist
When you join the Site’s tester waitlist, we keep:
- your full name, email address and country;
- the language of the page you signed up on, so we write to you in that language;
- your type of device (iPhone or Android), if you tell us;
- the date and time of your signup and of its confirmation.
To confirm the email address is yours, we send a 6-digit code that is valid for 10 minutes. We keep the code only as a cryptographic digest, never the code itself. Signups that are not confirmed are deleted about a day after the code expires.
What we use it for: confirming your email; inviting you to the beta and sending you messages about it; telling you when the Game launches; and learning, in aggregate numbers, which countries and devices interested players come from, to plan the beta. We do not use this data for advertising or profiling.
Legal basis: your consent (LGPD art. 7, I; GDPR art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time by asking to leave the list. Protecting the Site against abuse relies on our legitimate interest (LGPD art. 7, IX; GDPR art. 6(1)(f)).
The invitation: to invite you, we enter your name and email in Apple’s TestFlight (iPhone) or in Google’s Play Console (Android). From then on, Apple or Google handle that data under their own policies. During the beta, these platforms may send us what you choose to share, such as feedback and screenshots, as well as crash reports and technical data about your device.
How long: confirmed signups are kept until the end of the beta and the Game’s launch, or until you ask to leave, whichever comes first. Then we delete the data. Encrypted database backups keep deleted data for no more than 14 days.
4The website
- No tracking: the Site uses no analytics, ads, social media pixels or third-party scripts. Fonts and images come from our own server.
- A single cookie: if you pick a language in the menu, we keep that choice in the
langcookie for one year, to open the Site in that language next time. It does not identify you. - While you sign up: the form keeps what you typed in your browser tab’s own storage (
sessionStorage), so the code step survives a page reload. This data stays in your browser and disappears when the tab is closed or the signup is confirmed. - Technical logs: our servers may record technical data about each visit, such as the IP address, date and time, page requested and browser, for a short period, to keep the Site secure and fix problems. To limit abusive attempts on the waitlist, IP addresses and email addresses enter only counters, as keyed cryptographic digests, which are deleted within a day.
6Security
The Site works only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). On the waitlist, names and email addresses are encrypted in the database (AES-256-GCM), confirmation codes are kept only as cryptographic digests, backups are encrypted and the list is only accessed on the server itself, with restricted access. No system is completely immune to failure; if an incident could put you at risk, we will tell you and the competent authorities, as the law requires.
7Your rights
At any time and free of charge, you can:
- confirm whether we process your data and access it;
- correct incomplete, inaccurate or outdated data;
- have your data deleted and leave the tester waitlist;
- receive your data in a structured format (portability);
- learn who we share your data with;
- withdraw your consent and object to processing.
To do so, write to [email protected] from the email address you signed up with. We reply within 15 days. You can also complain to Brazil’s National Data Protection Authority (ANPD) or to the data protection authority of your country.
8Children and teenagers
The Game can be played by people of any age and collects no data from anyone, children included. The tester waitlist is for people aged 16 or over. If you learn that someone under 16 has signed up, write to [email protected] and we will delete their data.
9Changes to this policy
We may update this policy, for example if the Game gains new features. The date of the last update is at the top of the page. If a change is significant, we will announce it on the Site and, to those on the tester waitlist, by email before it takes effect. Our terms of use complement this policy.
